6. The Applicant shall take cognizance of the PAC Act 2011, Code of Practice and Regulations prior to filling and signing the current application form.
7. The Applicant shall be eligible for enrolment as a Trainee Architect if he/she fulfils the requirements under Section 23 of the PAC Act 2011.
8. Particular attention is drawn to Section 45 of the Professional Architects’ Council Act 2011 and the Regulations.
9. The Applicant shall present the originals (along with photocopies) of the following documents to the Registrar at the moment of application: Birth certificate, National Identity Card, Certificates (SC & HSC / BAC), Architecture Degree, testimonials, a valid Certificate of Character and any other relevant documents in support of the application.
10. The Applicant shall choose an Employment Mentor from the PAC approved list of Registered Architects with more than 10 years of experience for his/her internship.
11. The Applicant fill in the Trainee Architect’s Logbook which the latter shall need to use to keep record of activities undertaken during the internship period.
12. The Applicant must submit the Employment Mentor’s Testimonial to the PAC on as prescribed in the logbook, and any other relevant documents as may be requested by the council.
13. In case the Applicant had done or wishes to do his/her professional experience and development abroad, he/she will be requested to furnish registration details of his/her Employment Mentor(s). The PAC reserves the right to approve or reject any such Employment Mentor which does not satisfy the requirements as may be prescribed by the council.
14. Only complete application forms and required documents shall be forwarded to the council for recommendation.
15. The Applicant shall effect payment of fees as may be prescribed at the moment of the application and upon approval of same.
16. The Registrar shall enroll the applicant as “Trainee Architect” upon approval of the Council.
